The principal of the project is researcher Liu Wenzhao of the Institute of soil and water conservation, Ministry of water resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The running time of the project is from January 2003 to December 2005. This data set is based on the daily meteorological data of 71 meteorological stations in the Loess Plateau. The daily meteorological parameters include: precipitation, maximum, minimum and average temperature, solar radiation, relative humidity, wind speed and direction.
