%X This data set is the glacier movement velocity of Glacier No.1 at the source of Urumqi River in Tianshan Mountains from 1985 to 1999.The surface velocity of Glacier No.1 is measured by precise optical theodolite and total station. The former is obtained by repeated forward intersection of flower stems arranged in ice from the control points on the glacier, and the spatial displacement of flower stems (ice body) in unit time is calculated by coordinate method. The data of the ablation period and the whole year can be obtained by observing once a year in May and at the end of August. For the latter, the total station is used to measure the velocity of the glacier surface, and the measuring rod arranged on the glacier surface is observed from the control points K1 and K2, and the spatial displacement of the ice body in unit time is calculated by coordinate method. The data set mainly records the glacier movement speed (summer, winter and annual velocity).
