AB  - This data set includes the actual survey data of land types in Linze grassland, Yingke oasis, huazhaizi desert, Dayekou watershed and Zhangye City.（1) From May 27 to May 31, 2008, the surface cover types of several intensive observation areas in Linze grassland, Yingke oasis, huazhaizi desert, Dayekou watershed and Zhangye City were investigated. According to remote sensing images, plots with uncertain visual interpretation or plots of interest are randomly selected in each experimental area for field investigation. GPS positioning, taking photos and describing properties of these plots.（2) On July 7, 2008, 2008-7-82008-7-102008-7-112008-7-122008-7-132008-7-142008-7-15, investigate the land types of Yingke oasis, huazhaizi desert and biandukou intensive observation area, make detailed land type mapping and GPS inspection points, and complete land type supplementary investigation. The survey and mapping results are stored by number in ShapeFile data format, data record form and JPGE image format.
