%X In 2017-2018, clay mineral analysis was carried out for Mohe permafrost and Dongying permafrost, and the clay composition and content of the two kinds of soil were compared and analyzed. The observation elements include kaolinite content, chlorite content, illite content, illite / montmorillonite interlayer, interlayer ratio, etc</ p> The data resources were collected from September 20, 2017 to March 20, 2018. The clay mineral composition of Mohe permafrost and Dongying permafrost was measured by X-ray diffraction system. A total of 20 groups of indoor experiments were carried out, and the experimental data set was completely open and shared.
